  | The Best Climate in the world....
If you are not already aware, the Canary Islands enjoy one of the best climates in the world - without exception.
They are to Europe, what the Caribbean Islands are to the U.S.A. - but with mild tropical winters, no extremes of temperature, no hurricanes, no monsoons, no unbearable humidity and no dangerous animals, snakes or insects.
- Just the perfect climate all year round.
Tenerife, lying off the coast of North African, is known as the Island of 'Eternal Spring', it is the largest and the most popular of the Canaries. Warmed by the gulf stream, sun worshippers are refreshed by the Atlantic breezes. Resorts in the South enjoy the highest temperatures with superb beaches of dark sands mixed with the golden sands of the Sahara. The South is dominated by the main features of Las Americas and Los Christianos.
Las Americas Famous for its excellent sunshine record, long fine sandy beaches and sensational nightlife including discos and a casino, Playas de Las Americas has shops and a wide range of bars and restaurants to cater for every taste. Canarian palms stretch out along the broad streets and the main sandy beach is well protected by breakwaters that permit safe bathing, windsurfing and various other water sports. There is an 18 hole golf course and also the famous Octopus water park.
Los Christianos Often the family choice for it's well kept sandy beach and distinctly cosmopolitan atmosphere. There are plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants lining the pedestrian walkways. The resort retains the feel of its once fishing village industry.
Walking Tenerife is very popular with walkers who wish to 'get away from it all'. Masca in the South West being one of the most beautiful unspoilt areas with various walks such as the Masca gorge where you can take the boat back to Los Gigantes, (but pleae note, this particular walk should only be attempted by experienced walkers with the correct equipment) or the wonderful ridge walks to the unspoilt Teno Alto or to the other side with breathtaking views over Masca.
Adeje is very popular with the 'Barranco Del Inferno Walk', a lovely shaded walk about 8 kilometres long which is reasonably easy going, even for those without experience. Don't forget to stop at the famous 'Oasis Chicken Bar' for lunch or supper on the way home though. How about a very different kind of walk thrpugh 'The Moon Landscape' set in Las Canidas and the wonderful Oratava valley.

Deep Sea Fishing A number of deep sea fishing trips to catch shark, tuna or dorada leave daily from Los Christianos. If you're feeling adventurous, why not take a trip underwater in 'The Yellow Submarine' or just view the fish from the glass bottomed catamaran. Visit the Los Christianos Diving Centre and discover the wonders of marine life, you may also have a night life adventure too - if you wish.
Nightlife Tenerife has nightlife to suit everyone from the traditional bars and restaurants in and around Los Christianos to the all night beat of bars, clubs and discos in Las Americas. If you're feeling lucky.. you can also try the casino or watch one of the spectacular floor shows on offer.
